Church Without Walls

The Church Without Walls: Who Are We?

The Church Without Walls, a ministry of St. Andrew's, is a group of Christians, seekers and others who come together to share the Good News of Jesus through Word, works and presence.  Through regular worship, our pastoral presence and by providing opportunities for fellowship, our vision is to build community with people who are experiencing poverty, homelessness, hunger and joblessness in downtown Springfield.

Following the example of Jesus, we are a pastoral presence in the streets, in the public library, at the meal programs and other places where our brothers and sisters gather for food, shelter and friendship.  We are people seeking Christ in one another, while doing the best to be the face of Christ for one another.

On Sundays at noon we gather in Court Square in Springfield for share the Holy Eucharist as well as food and fellowship.  Our liturgy is open to everyone … please come join us.

If you have questions about the Church Without Walls, or want more information on how you, or your group or parish can take part, please contact Fr.
